What I help with

Five areas of care, one connected approach

Food, gut, hormones, movement and stress aren't separate boxes to tick. I treat them together, starting with whatever's bothering you most.

Gut & digestion

IBS, bloating, reflux and FODMAP, done properly.

Women's & men's health

Hormones, cycles, fertility and menopause, for women and men.

Metabolic health

Blood sugar, weight, energy and GLP-1 support.

Food freedom

Out of the diet cycle, without the guilt.

The bigger picture

Gut, sleep and stress, as one system.

Gut & digestive health

Calm the gut without living on a list of "safe" foods.

When every meal feels like a gamble, the bloating, the discomfort, the planning your day around your gut, food stops being something you enjoy. We work out what's actually going on and rebuild your confidence with food, so your world gets bigger again, not smaller.

  • Get to the bottom of bloating, pain and unpredictable digestion
  • A structured way to find your real triggers, including low-FODMAP done properly, that ends in more variety, not less
  • Support for IBS, Crohn's, ulcerative colitis, diverticulitis and reflux, protecting your nutrition all the way

Women's & men's health

Nutrition that works with your hormones.

PCOS, endometriosis, missing periods and the road to conception each need a different nutrition lever. We target the right one instead of a generic "eat clean".

  • PCOS and insulin-resistance nutrition that's sustainable, not restrictive
  • Endometriosis and cycle support alongside your medical team
  • Restoring cycles in HA, plus preconception and fertility nutrition
  • For men: hormonal, metabolic and fertility nutrition too

Metabolic health

Steady blood sugar, steady energy.

For type 2 diabetes, insulin resistance and weight goals, the win is consistency you can keep, not a two-week sprint you abandon. We build habits that survive a busy week.

  • Balanced blood sugar, day to day and long term, without deprivation
  • Weight management that's realistic, focused on your health, not just the scale
  • More energy and fewer cravings, so the plan actually sticks
  • Nutrition support alongside GLP-1 medications

About

Hi, I'm Joci.

I'm an Accredited Practising Dietitian with over 14 years helping people feel better in their own bodies, through food, movement and a clearer understanding of what their health really needs.

I grew up in southern Brazil, where food meant family, and trained as a dietitian there before moving to Sydney in 2012. Since then I've built my practice around the whole person, not just the problem in front of me. I work most with weight management, women's hormonal health and gut issues, plus the tangled cases that don't fit neatly in one box, often with people who've tried everything and are ready for a different approach.

Lasting change happens when nutrition, lifestyle and mindset work together, not in isolation.
14+ years experience APD, Dietitians Australia Master of Public Health Monash FODMAP-trained

I'm also a qualified Pilates and yoga teacher, so movement, recovery and the mind-body connection run through everything I do. Whether it's digestion, hormones, or simply wanting to feel in control of your health again, I'll meet you where you are and build something that fits your real life.

Wellness starts from within.

Questions, answered.

What's the difference between a dietitian and a nutritionist?+
Anyone can call themselves a nutritionist; it isn't a protected title. Dietitian is a regulated, university-qualified credential, and an Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) is held to a national code of conduct and ongoing training. You're getting clinical care backed by evidence, not guesswork.
How does telehealth work?+
Everything runs over secure video, so your consult happens wherever you are, at home, at work, travelling. You book online, get a link, and we talk face to face. Plans, resources and follow-ups all arrive digitally, and we line up time zones when you book.
What should I have ready before my first consult?+
Nothing is required, just you. If you have recent blood tests or a list of medications and supplements, have them handy. And no, you don't need to keep a food diary first.
I've tried everything before. How is this different?+
Most of what you've tried was probably a plan built for everyone, which means it was built for no one. This starts with your history, your labs and your actual week, and it comes with someone in your corner between sessions. You've never failed a plan that was truly built for you, because you've probably never had one.
What if I'm taking a GLP-1 medication?+
Then nutrition matters more, not less. We focus on protecting muscle, managing appetite and side effects, and building the eating patterns that keep working for the long term. Your plan is coordinated with whatever your prescriber has set up.
Is this just another diet?+
No. The approach is non-diet and weight-inclusive. Any structure (like FODMAP elimination) is time-limited and works toward more variety, never less.

Ready when you are.
